RHINO aka FADE is the fruit of a European upbringing. Born in England but raised in Germany, he discovered a diverse range of music while studying at an international school surrounded by friends from around the world. In 2006 he moved to Liverpool and became resident DJ at the mythic Magnet Club before launching his Hip Hop project ASM (A State of Mind) with childhood friends FP & GREEN T. After an extensive ASM tour alongside Wax Tailor he moved permanently to France in 2012 where he created his second successful project JUKEBOX CHAMPIONS alongside BLANKA (La Fine Equipe). A fan of MPCs, Samplers and Controllers, RHINO is considered one of the best pad performers in Europe. His live shows are energetic and playful. Like many of the best hip hop producers he was asked by AKAI PROFESSIONAL to participate in their respected STANDALONE CHALLENGE. He is also supported by ABLETON, ARTURIA and even CONVERSE. RHINO has become well known for his performance videos and recently completed official remixes for Chinese Man, Deluxe, L’Entourloop and Chill Bump. These are added to his long list of collaborations that include MF DOOM, SOOM T, KID CREOLE, DJ VADIM, to name but a few. WELCOME, released February 2018, is his first solo EP. It blends his influences of Soul, Hip Hop, Reggae and Funk with an Electronic backdrop and affirms this English producers place in the Future Beat scene.
