One such genre that has been turning heads and moving feet is what we call “Dissolve Techno”. Our new sound pack, from the studio Abstract State, perfectly captures this electrifying sound, blending old-school influences with modern production techniques.‍

Inspired by the late 90s raves

“Dissolve Techno” takes direct inspiration from the acid techno and rave scenes of the late 1990s – an era defined by the iconic sounds of two seminal instruments:

• Roland TB-303: Known for its distinctive squelchy basslines, the TB-303 became the backbone of the acid techno movement. Its unique sound, characterized by resonant, looping patterns, created an entrancing, hypnotic effect that drove dancefloors wild.
• Roland JP-8000: This synthesizer brought a new dimension to electronic music with its digitally-boosted analog modeling. The JP-8000’s lush pads, sharp leads, and the legendary Super Saw waveform added a richness and complexity to techno that was previously unheard of.‍
