The first artist pack of the year comes courtesy of Principleasure, the brainchild of LA-based Sharooz Raoofi: this is Peak Electronic, an engaging, introspective collection bursting with personality! Appearing on labels like Fool’s Gold and Modular, remixing for Moby or Robyn, Raoofi is a veteran of the industry with a deep knowledge of the medium. The Principleasure project puts his love of vintage synths front and center: with his desire to “bring the brooding electronic sound [he’s] known for into a construction kit format” he conjured sounds from machines like the Juno 106, Jupiter 6, LinnDrum LM-2 or Oberheim Xpander for this exclusive pack.
