Taking inspiration from the horror-leaning side of trap, Wasteland Trap is a heavily overcast trip into arid urban landscapes and dusty terrain… The recipe for this pack involves classic trap beats, with a definite thump yet understated vibes thanks to their wriggling hi-hats and lithe snares buoyed by ballooned bass and boomy kicks. However the melodies have a definite air of understated threat, with tension ratcheted up by backwards strings, descending harmonies and unsteady pitch, underpinned by gloomy, airy background pads.
